If Day 1 was about arriving, Day 2 was about moving. We officially launched our project activities on 12 March 2023, and the energy in the group was already through the roof!
Shaking Off the Sleep
We started our morning with high-energy energizers. There’s nothing like a bit of movement and laughter to sharpen the focus before diving into the day’s goals. These sessions aren't just for fun, they help our participants stay present and ready to collaborate.
Building the Foundation
The rest of the morning was dedicated to team-building activities. Our participants from France, Germany, Hungary, North Macedonia, Greece, and Portugal spent time in "getting-to-know-each-other" workshops. It’s inspiring to see how quickly cultural barriers break down when you’re working toward a common goal.
The Great Caen Scavenger Hunt 🔍
In the afternoon, we took our mission to the beautiful streets of Caen! To help everyone get their bearings and soak up the local culture, we organized an Orientation Scavenger Hunt.
The Challenge: Participants were divided into international mixed groups.
The Mission: Complete 11 creative tasks scattered throughout the city.
The Result: From navigating historic landmarks to interacting with locals, the teams showed incredible resourcefulness and spirit. It was the perfect way to turn the city into a living classroom.
Reflection and Growth
We wrapped up this action-packed day with a feedback session. In the Erasmus+ spirit, we believe that reflection is just as important as the activity itself. Hearing the participants share their thoughts and feelings about the day showed us just how much they are already starting to value this shared journey.
The foundation is built now it's time to start getting closer to the kitchen!
