The kitchen was quiet, the aprons folded, and the last of the "United Chefs" have safely begun their journeys back to *France, Germany, Hungary, North Macedonia, Greece, and Portugal.
A Week to Remember
Over the last seven days, we have done so much more than just share recipes. We have:
Explored the historic streets of Caen.
Mastered 8 Youthpass competencies through theater and teamwork.
Traveled across Europe using only our taste buds from Töltött Paprika to Bacalhau à Brás and Souvlaki.
Built a community based on solidarity, sustainability, and mutual respect.
A Message to Our Participants
To our amazing chefs: Thank you. Thank you for your energy, your openness to trying new flavors, and your dedication to the spirit of Erasmus+. You arrived as individuals and left as ambassadors of your cultures. The enthusiasm you showed in every workshop and every "cultural night" is what makes projects like this so impactful.
The Journey Doesn't End Here
While the physical mobility has ended, the impact of "United Chefs" is just beginning. We look forward to seeing how you apply the skills you’ve learned whether it’s in your local communities, your future careers, or simply in your own kitchens at home.
Stay in touch, keep cooking, and remember: Food is the ingredient that binds us together.
Until next time, Europe! 🌍🥘
